Period Secondary Glazing

Instead of changing your period Sash joinery windows to PVC material windows it is possible to insert slim line double glazed units into your existing Sash windows. Keeping the Georgian period exterior the same as it should be. We use slim line glass which can now be better than standard double glazing units achieving U values of as low as 1.2 on a 6mm cavity and 1.1 on an 8mm cavity.

The slim glazes warm edge spacer technology consists of a polymetric tape that has a desiccant embedded structure. , it is physically smaller than a contemporary spacer bar and more aesthetically pleasing. It allows us to maintain the window's traditional glazed Sash look for your listed building.
